About the pattern
Bastion is a classic denim jacket: front and back yokes, panelled fronts and back, a pointed collar and a buttoned waistband, all finished with double rows of jeans topstitching. It has flapped chest pockets set under the yoke seams, hand pockets hidden in the front panel seams, and two-piece sleeves with split, buttoned cuffs. It is unlined and made for medium to heavy denim without stretch.
The pattern covers men's EU 44 to 58 in a roomy, boxy fit that layers over a shirt or a sweatshirt. With topstitching on nearly every seam, it suits confident sewers with a machine that copes with thick layers.
